あなたの頑張りを低くいう人、あなたの成したことを小さくいう人。そういった耳ざわりな人々が多少はいるものだ。

あなたは自分の旅路を気にしていればいい。そのまま進んで、そんな人たちは通り過ぎてしまおう。小さな彼らに反発している必要はない。反発がないとなると、彼らのほうが変わって、どこかへ行ってしまうもんさ。そしてあなたは前進をつづけるんだ。

Focus on continuing your journey - moving past them - rather than resisting their pettiness. When they find no resistance, they change, they go to another place. And you maintain your forward momentum.
