失敗の話をして、最高の経験だった、と言っているのを最後に聞いたのはいつだろう？　失敗を自信をむしばむ疾患の開始点とみなすことを意識的に選択する人でないなら、それは一個人としての輝きの始まりだ。問題を認知して、解決へ向かう道程の始まりなんだ。

失敗と新しい機会は、１つのコインの２つの面だ。そうなのだけれど、失敗に見舞われたとき、そのコインを裏返して反対側にある機会を見ようとする人は少ない。

今日は、自分が失敗にどう対応するかを考える最良の日だ。否定するか、逃げるか、はたまた身の破滅のシナリオまで創りあげてしまうか。それとも、一歩ひいて、その経験に建設的な一面を見いだして、その失敗がもたらしてくれた機会に感謝するか。失敗とは何なのかという見方は、あなたの姿勢、意識、そして認知力によって決まる。

When was the last time you heard someone speak of failure as a peak experience? That is, except for those who chose to see their failure as an inflection point - a time for personal illumination. A time when they recognized the problem, and moved toward the solution.

Failure and opportunity are two sides of the same coin. But when failure shows up, few turn the coin over to see what opportunity presents itself on the other side.

Today’s a great day to consider how you deal with failure. Do you deny it, flee from it, or, perhaps, create a scenario of personal catastrophe? Or do you step back, seek the positive side of the experience, and embrace the opportunity that failure brings to you? How you see failure is all about your attitude, your awareness, and your perception.
